About Recordful

Recordful is a screen recorder that lives in your browser. Press record, show what you mean, and send it.

Why it exists

Recording your screen should not need a sign-up form, a desktop app, or a watermark you pay to remove. It also should not mean your recordings go to someone else's server whether you wanted that or not.

So the Recordful extension is free and works without an account. Recordings stay on your device unless you decide otherwise.

Open source

The extension is open source under the GPLv3 license. A screen recorder can see everything on your screen, so you should be able to check what it does. The code is on GitHub.

How it is paid for

Recordful Pro is an optional paid plan. It adds the parts that cost money to run: cloud storage for recordings, share links, a dashboard, transcripts and team workspaces. There are no ads and your data is not sold. See pricing.

Who makes it

Recordful is built and run by Kislay, an independent developer in India. If you email, that is who replies.
